b'Campaign updatesTHE CAMPAIGN FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIESWe will be the ones reaches across the Piedmont Triad regionIn many ways, the past year was our most significant. Steve and Jackie Bells $7.5 million gift brought us within striking reach of our initial $35 million goal for The Campaign for Healthy Communities just two and a half years in. Kaiser Permanente took notice of Cone Healths work to improve community health and invited us to become part of Risant Health. Donors and partners offered their resources, voices and collaboration to the Cone Health mission. With all of this momentum, we can push forward to make great things happen here in the Piedmont Triad region and nationally.PRIORITY:Expanding Cancer CareAs donors learn about Alight Integrative Care through community members like Vickie Whitt (story, page 28), contributions to support the expansion of Alight help bring critical wraparound services to cancer patients across the system. Thanks to hosts Dr. Miguel and Denese Brito, the 2024 Imagination Ball provided critical momentum for our fundraising goals. The balls resounding success will help fund programs like healing arts, nutritional education, counseling, spiritual guidance, massage, yoga, workshops and more. Alight in your cancer journey means youre never alone, and our generous donors demonstrate their commitment to this promise.
