b'Jumping forward in time, in late spring 2021 our new MedCenter for Women (page 12) was finally complete, extending our commitment to equity at a conveniently located campus that offers exceptional care for women of all ages and stages of life regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. Weve made important choices in the design of this building and bundled services with efficiency in mind: routine screenings, high-risk pregnancy care, behavioral health, genetic counseling, physical therapy, wellness classes, onsite lab services and even mom and baby clinics, where mothers and their babies receive checkups at the same time. For those identified by a provider with a food need, a medical market is available with nutritious food. Plus, the MedCenter for Women is one of the only facilities in our region to offer a specialized urogynecology focus. Access meets prevention meets a shared sense of community, in one building. Its happening across all of Cone Health, where were bridging innovative therapies with prevention-focused programs in fitness, nutrition and mental health to keep you well and speed your recovery, ready to embrace every meaningful event of your life. Spend some time with this issue of the giving effect and youll see some of the steps weve taken in recent months. My hope is that youll also see whats possible with your support. We will be the ones to redefine what a health care system can do for our community. Weve made tremendous inroads so far, and were only just beginning. Stay tuned and stay connected. We need you.Mary Jo Cagle, MDCHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERo8 12 16 2oConeCorps MedCenter forAlight IntegrativeGrateful patientWomenCare Q&AGeorge Harrison An inspiring partnership Care for all women in aA conversation with VP Helping a person breathe to curb gun violence welcoming new space of Oncology Skip Hislopeasier along the cancer and founder Mary Jones journey Impact Report 20211'
