Cone Health and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Piedmont Triad partnered to pro-vide families a respite from the hospital atmosphere. In September 2021, the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Cone Health Womens & Childrens Center opened, offering families a place to rest and regroup. The new room provides a kitchen stocked with snacks, drinks and easy to prepare meals; comfortable seating areas; and workspaces with desks, computers, internet access and charging stations. The relocation of the Norville Breast Care Center paves the way for the expansion of heart care at Alamance Regional.
