b'Leadership Competency Model Recognizing the need to build strong leaders and to identify the skills and abilities necessary to drive organizational success, in 2019, we embarked on a journey to redesign our leadership competency framework in a way that supports each individual leaders journey and forges a consistent leadership culture at Cone Health. The framework was collaboratively designed by leaders at multiple levels across the organization. All Cone Health leaders will be trained to develop four leadership competencies, called the Four Core: Integrates Inclusiveness, Drives Results, Develops People and Promotes Self-Care. The new leadership competency framework takes a tiered approach based on leadership level in the organization and provides specific behaviors each leader is expected to perform in their daily work. The focus for 2020 is to launch the new leadership competency framework and provide education sessions to all Cone Health leaders. This will be complete by September 2020.With community partners, we will improve health and well-being by creating value at the intersection of cost, quality and experience. As one of the regions largest and most comprehensive health networks, Cone Healths quality of care rivals the best in the country, while our cost structure remains lower than others in the region. ~Bruce Swords, MD, PhD, Chief Medical OfficerTriad HealthCare Network (Quality)Triad HealthCare Network (THN) is a physician-led network of approximately 2,000 health care providers who partner with Cone Health to keep patients healthy primarily through prevention, innovation, care coordination and information sharing. Serving patients throughout Greensboro and the greater Piedmont Triad, THN received $6.2 million in 2019 for reducing the costs of caring for traditional Medicare patients while maintaining or improving the measurable quality of care. While THN providers see all patients, this payment reflects the savings for traditional Medicare patients earned through THNs work in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Next Generation Accountable Care Organization Model. 1718'
