the giving effect 2025 3 Welcoming Cone Health’s new chief executive officer Cone Health moves into its next phase of leadership with the arrival of Paul Krakovitz, MD, FACS, who has assumed the role of chief executive officer following a nationwide search. Krakovitz brings more than two decades of experience leading nationally recognized health systems, along with a physician’s perspective shaped by years of patient care. Most recently, he served as an executive-in-residence at Cressey & Company, an investment firm focused on innovating and improving America’s health care system. He’s held senior leadership roles at Intermountain Health, including Desert Region president and senior vice president. As the region’s first president, he oversaw significant growth and expansion.
