b'Philanthropy Cone Health Philanthropy receives and uses private contributions to support Cone Healths mission of connecting health and well-being. Cone Health also has endowed two separate grantmaking foundations: Cone Health Foundation serves greater Greensboro and Impact Alamance serves Alamance County. Both foundations work in their communities to improve health and well-being.Cone Health FoundationWhen the pandemic arrived in 2020, our grantee partners quickly gured out how to continue serving those most a!ected. The crisis conrmed what our partners have long known: health is an issue far broader and more complex than just medical care. It is inextricably linked to other social and economic drivers of healthand policies that create those conditions.Cone Health Foundation is committed to building a more equitable future for Greensboro by using our voice, inuence, programs and initiatives to create fair opportunities for all to be healthy. To that end, the Foundation committed $4,660,026 to 40 Greensboro-area nonprots. Most of these grants support work in our grantmaking focus areas: access to health care, adolescent pregnancy prevention, HIV and substance use/mental health disorders.
