b'LETTER FROM MAE DOUGLASCaring for others is a value that is deeply embedded in both Cone Healths history and its future. As part of our journey from success to significance, it is essential that we commit to continue being good listeners and dedicated Mae Douglas, Chair partners. We must draw on our strengths and Cone Health Board of Trustees work diligently to find others with similar or complementary passions. This past year, Cone Health has been blessed to partner with community and business leaders on a rural health care summit in Rockingham County. We had the opportunity to talk with and listen to community members to learn more about their health care and wellness needs. In Asheboro, we had conversations with local officials, organizations and individuals that allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of how we can best leverage our combined insights and resources to expand access and deliver care when, where and how it best suits our patients and consumers. Partnerships have allowed us to expand telehealth services in Title 1 schools in Guilford County, as well as make innovative heart and vascular care more widely available in Alamance County, Guilford County and surrounding areas. There is real power in partnerships. On behalf of the Cone Health Board of Trustees, we look forward to listening to and learning from our patients, consumers and partners in the communities we serve. CONE HEALTH ANNUAL REPORT3'
