The Great 100 North Carolina Nursing Excellence Award was 
established to honor and celebrate registered nurses across 
the state who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to 
excellence while uplifting the image of the nursing profession. 
The nomination process is intentionally thorough, reflecting 
the depth of professionalism, compassion and excellence 
required for this distinction. Being named to the Great 100 is 
not only an acknowledgment of clinical expertise, but also a 
tribute to the character, commitment and lasting contributions 
these nurses bring to their patients, teams and communities.
We are incredibly proud of the many Cone Health nurses 
who have been recognized through this prestigious honor, 
and we celebrate the inspiration they provide to others across 
our organization.
